We offer a wide variety of Yoga styles to help you achieve your health and wellness goals.  Need to de-stress, work out, calm down, gain energy, build confidence, or just plain feel better?  Yoga can do all of these things and help you find a healthy balance.  If you’re new to our studio or Yoga, check out our Intro Special!

Traditional Bikram

The original “26 and 2”, we practice 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises in a hot room (105F+) for 90 minutes in a specific order to work every bone, muscle, joint, organ, and gland.  The postures are designed for beginners, but even advanced students benefit as their practice deepens.  All systems of the body are worked, and a vast array of health benefits can be recognized after just a few classes.  This is the most therapeutic style we offer.

A mat, a big towel (bath sheet or mat-length “Yogitoes”), and a water bottle (no glass please) are a must for our hot classes.  Bring your own, or rent/buy from us. Teens over age 14 are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian.  See special youth pricing.

Vinyasa

Postures of Ashtanga origin,  a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next connecting breathing with movement. This type of yoga is taught in a heated studio which makes it a vigorous and revitalizing form of physical fitness. It incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, cardio and physical and mental stamina in one session.

Classes are designed for all levels, and taught in a room heated to 90 thru 95 degrees.

A towel for your mat is recommended to avoid slipping while in your downward dog (except for Gentle Flow classes).  We have them to rent if you don’t already have them.  Teens over age 14 are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian.

We offer the following variations of Vinyasa classes:

  • All Levels – Good for beginners and we will offer posture variations for those who want a little more challenge.  Taught in a hot room at about 95 degrees.
  • Level I/II – OK for beginners (maybe not your very first yoga class) but we will offer more difficult posture variations and keep the class moving at a slightly faster pace than All Levels.  Taught in a hot room at about 95 degrees.
  • Gentle Flow – A much slower flow designed to release tension and stretch out.  These classes are offered in the evening with the intention that you will be nice and relaxed afterward for a great night’s sleep.  Taught in a slightly warm room for comfort so you will not build up a sweat.  This class is great for beginners, people working through injuries, or anyone who is not necessarily looking for a tough workout.  (Monday and Wednesday at 8:30pm)
  • Groove – A Level I/II class where we crank up the stereo and show off our cool lighting effects for a vigorous flow of movement and fun.  Make this your Saturday night pre-party!  (Saturday nights at 5:30pm) For those with photosensitivity, we use lighting effects in this class that may exacerbate symptoms.  Please plan accordingly.  No other classes use these special lights.

 

Yin

A very slow and relaxing class taught in a room slightly above room temperature, you will hold postures for 2 to 10 minutes per side, targeting your body’s connective tissue to improve circulation and flexibility.  The best complement to an active yoga practice is Yin Yoga.  We offer 60 and 75-minute versions.

All you need is a mat (rentals available).  We provide the props.  We welcome children as young as 10 years old to join us with a parent or guardian.  See our Pricing page for youth rates.
