We offer a wide variety of Yoga styles to help you achieve your health and wellness goals.  Need to de-stress, work out, calm down, gain energy, build confidence, or just plain feel better?  Yoga can do all of these things and help you find a healthy balance.  If you’re new to our studio or Yoga, check out our Intro Special!

Traditional Bikram

The original “26 and 2”, we practice 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises in a hot room (105F+) for 90 minutes in a specific order to work every bone, muscle, joint, organ, and gland.  The postures are designed for beginners, but even advanced students benefit as their practice deepens.  All systems of the body are worked, and a vast array of health benefits can be recognized after just a few classes.  This is the most therapeutic style we offer.

A mat, a big towel (bath sheet or mat-length “Yogitoes”), and a water bottle (no glass please) are a must for our hot classes.  Bring your own, or rent/buy from us. Teens over age 14 are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian.  See special youth pricing.

YFL Hot 60 – A condensed version of Bikram’s traditional 90-minute series to fit into your busy schedule, this class is 60 minutes in length in a heated room (105F+). You will still do all postures, but only one set of some, and some additional postures for enhanced benefits. The pace will be a little faster than you are used to. This series is designed to include more athletic and cardiovascular benefits to the therapeutic benefits you know and love.

Silent Bikram Class – If you have taken 10 prior Bikram classes, then try one of our twice a month silent Bikram classes which are led with minimal cueing allowing you to experience your practice introspectively in a very different way. Held monthly on the 1st Friday at 6:30 PM & 3rd Saturday at 4 PM. NEW STUDENTS: 10 prior Bikram classes required.

Vinyasa / Hatha

Postures of Ashtanga origin,  a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next connecting breathing with movement. This type of yoga is taught in a heated studio of 95 degrees which makes it a vigorous and revitalizing form of physical fitness. It incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, cardio and physical and mental stamina in one session.

A vinyasa towel for your mat or a vinyasa performance mat is recommended to avoid slipping while in your downward dog (except for Gentle Flow classes).  We have them to rent or retail if you don’t already have them.  Teens over age 14 are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian.

We offer the following variations:

  • Power Vinyasa – A powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next connecting breathing with movement. It offers the most complete body strengthening and toning and is our most aerobic form of yoga and moves a bit faster than our Hatha Flow classes.  All Levels class is good for all yogis including beginners and offer posture variations for those who want a little more challenge (Tues 6:30pm & Sat 10:00am). Level I/II class is oriented toward the intermediate, advanced yogis and the next step for beginners looking to explore the next level. In this class we offer more difficult posture variations, sequencing and at times keep the class moving at a slightly faster pace (Tues & Thurs 12:00pm, Fri 5:00pm).
  • Hatha Flow – A wonderful balance of Bikram, Vinyasa and Yin appealing to all students as it will give the body different styles of stretching, more meditation, awareness of how energy flows through you, along with strengthening and staying connected to your breath. The poses are connected through flow without chaturangas. Whether you are new to yoga or a seasoned yogi, Hatha Flow is always loved and needed. (Thurs 6:30pm)
  • Gentle Flow – A much slower flow designed to release tension and stretch out. These classes are offered in the evening with the intention that you will be nice and relaxed afterward for a great night’s sleep. Taught in a slightly warm room for comfort so you will not build up a sweat. This class is great for beginners, people working through injuries, or anyone who is not necessarily looking for a tough workout. (Wed 8:30pm)
  • Groove – Join us every Friday evening at 5:00pm for our one of a kind Lava Lamp Grooves power vinyasa class where we crank up our six-channel surround sound system and show off our cool lighting effects for a vigorous flow of movement and fun. Make this your Friday night pre-party!  Previous experience required of five power vinyasa classes. For those with photosensitivity, we use lighting effects in this class that may exacerbate symptoms.  Please plan accordingly.  No other classes use these special lights.

Yin

A very slow and relaxing class taught in a room slightly above room temperature, you will hold postures for 2 to 10 minutes per side, targeting your body’s connective tissue to improve circulation and flexibility.  The best complement to an active yoga practice is Yin Yoga.  We offer 60 and 75-minute versions.

All you need is a mat (rentals available).  We provide the props.  We welcome children as young as 10 years old to join us with a parent or guardian.  See our Pricing page for youth rates.
